Corporate Interiors
This newly renovated corporate conference room included themed custom light fixtures, hand carved custom design conference table, wall sconces and more.
Training Simulator
During his tenure as the Architect-in-Charge at Tinker Air Force Base Mr. Frick worked on numerous Air Force related projects including renovation and addition to the existing L3 flight simulators in Building 296 located on Tinker Air Force Base.
This project included foundation(s) and exterior wall modifications and addition to the existing building. Exterior concrete panels required structural modifications for installation of new simulators including new foundation isolated building pad to account for the new hydraulic supports, new air conditioning and electrical service lines. The interior building renovation included increasing existing air conditioning supply for the increased building load.
Structural modification were made to the existing steel access mezzanine to extend to the new simulator and new catwalk extension system for accessing.

Hospital/Laboratory
The work performed under this contract consisted of furnishing all Design/Engineering Services, personnel, needed to renovate existing lab facilities to include: architectural interior finishes, custom designed lab equipment and cabinets, these cabinets are removable and interchangeable; Interior lighting, electrical power systems, med gas, I.O./filtered water; mechanical and electrical upgrades. New ceiling hung fan coil units, fan coil units are interconnected with existing plant 4-pipe chilled and hot water systems. Careful coordination with outside vendor supplies was required in order not to tax the available water systems. Multiple ductless air conditioners were installed within multiple testing spaces were specific internal temperatures were required which included additional supplemental outside air sources for each space. Careful coordination with hospital occupants was required to maintain existing building use, we initiated safety programs and safety pathways to separate the community from building contractors including multiple protocols focused on careful coordination of project access both pedestrian and vehicular parking with project POC’s and hospital administration.
Modular SCIF
The 2nd Fleet requires Office Space that meets the Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) criteria to include Tempest Requirements, for the 2nd Fleet, located at the Norfolk Naval Station, VA. The work included demolition work and new work on existing site, providing approximately 48,000 square feet of office space for leasing to the government, purchasing and installing Fixed Furniture and Equipment (FF&E) within the leased office space and incidental related work. Related SCIF and Tempest work, PDG worked with Base designers and Site Safety personnel to determine the levels of security requirements for each space within the building.
New Fiber installation(s) was designed and extended from an existing secure vault located within an existing secure facility. New duct bank extensions were designed and extended into the new secure vault within the building. Four network connections were required for each work station for NIPR, SIPR/JWICS and open network installations. Total of approximately 20 miles of fiber connections were designed for this structure.

Hangar-2280
Building 2280 was constructed in 1943 with the South Dock designed for stripping and painting operations and the North dock for cleaning and painting; is the Main Corrosion and Control Building located at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. This project repaired and/or replaced all existing 18 interior air handler systems internal steam coils including outside air upgrades. These renovations were required to meet current outside air requirements per painting mission requirements. The existing outside air louvers allowed to much exterior non conditioned air to enter each of the existing air handlers during cold weather events these louvers would freeze and thus freeze the existing coils. Coils and AHU condensate pans required repair and replacement while keeping the existing facility operational to meet mission requirements.
Indoor Firing Range
Pinnacle Design Group was the Designer of Record for this firing range expansion and classroom interior renovation.
This project required the expansion of the existing outdoor firing range, PDG was required to enclose the firing range install baffle roof system and install new overhead door to allow Humvee access with M-50 mounted firing apparatus installed. This required PDG to demolish a portion of the existing range control station to increase the roof height of the existing exterior building, relocate the control booth so overhead door access can be installed. The new baffle system included new bullet trap with lead auger system and exhaust systems. The new exhaust system was required to meet new UFC ventilation requirements for firing ranges.

Modular Barracks
Pinnacle Design Group is the DOR and Modular Installation Manager for this new military barracks for enlisted personnel.
This design can be installed quickly in response to limited construction times and available man-power.

Physical Fitness Center
Pinnacle Design Group, LLC (PDG) was Designer of Record for this design/build project of a 50,000 square foot fitness facility at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. The fitness center included a gymnasium, weightlifting area, steam room, locker rooms, running track on the 2nd floor, offices and meeting areas. This project is designed as part of the Medical Training Area Expansion in relation to the BRAC closures and expansions of medical facilities. This project was completed in anticipation for veteran’s returning home from war prone areas.
Events Center
Pinnacle Design Group is the DOR for this Two Story modular community center located at Monkey Island, Oklahoma. This structure has been created to provide shaded party rooms and viewing areas for community visitors at Grand Lake in Oklahoma. The community center is connected to an existing RV Park and rentable long-term individual cabins. The Pinnacle Companies were hired to expand the existing park with modular housing and cabins, install new utility loops for water, sewer and power with a new expanded sewage lift station to support the existing park facilities and new park amenities being installed.

Engine Test Cell
PDG is the designer of record for multiple engine test cell facilities being relocated from multiple base locations throughout CONUS. These projects required design of new building expansions, foundations, thrust frame design and calculations capable of withstanding multiple engine strengths.
Modular Care Facility
Pinnacle Design Group is the DOR for this mobile Hospital/COVID Unit in response to the growing medical crisis and need to support our neighbors and our healthcare workers. This modular medical unit can be installed utilizing multi-story construction efforts or single story and can be installed and located and/or relocated through-out CONUS. This design incorporates an exterior family outdoor communication area so that family members can visit loved ones without entering the facility.
